Maritime Technical Highschool Dubrovnik graduates visit LARIAT!

๐Ÿ“Œ Fakultet elektrotehnike i primijenjenog raฤunarstva UNIDU, LARIAT-Laboratory for intelligent autonomous systems

Accompanied by Professor Damir Dilberoviฤ‡, the graduating students from the Maritime Technical Schoolโ€™s Electrical Engineering department visited UNIDU. The visit was organized by our very own ๐‘ซ๐’Š๐’๐’Œ๐’‚ ๐‘ณ๐’‚๐’๐’† ๐Ÿ‘, and the students got to experience real hands-on science! ๐Ÿงช๐Ÿ”

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ”ง They first participated in lab exercises led by Nora Miljaniฤ‡ and Dinka Lale. They measured voltage and current in series and parallel resistor networks, comparing the measured values with their previously calculated ones. They also investigated photovoltaic panels โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ”‹ โ€“ measuring voltage depending on the angle of light incidence and light intensity, and represented the results graphically ๐Ÿ“ˆ.

๐Ÿง  Afterwards, they visited LARIAT-Laboratory for intelligent autonomous systems, where Ante ลฝile gave them an overview of our lab, its equipment, and current research topics. The students were particularly intrigued by the SeaClear1 & 2.0 projects ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿค–, with video footage from final demonstrations of underwater robots.

๐Ÿ” A day full of knowledge, innovation, and practical learning โ€“ well done to everyone involved! ๐Ÿ‘
