During the education session, a leaflet and brochure on “Marine Pollution” were presented, providing instructions for citizens developed through the Croatian Disaster Risk Reduction Platform.

Students had the opportunity to participate in expert presentations, learning more about the types of marine pollution, their impact on the environment and human health.

Dr. Ivana Palunko, the head of LARIAT, introduced them to the importance of applying technology and robotics in marine protection.
Future seafarers were empowered with information on preventing pollution and were invited to join upcoming cleaning actions soon to be organized.

Thanks to all participants for their engagement and support in preserving our beautiful marine environment!
