The ARCA project officially kicked off with a successful meeting on September 5, 2024, in Lecce at the CMCC Foundation and was attended by LARIAT’s Ivana Palunko.

The ARCA Project started in May 2024 with CMCC – Centro Euro-Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici as coordinating organization and head of LARIAT, Assoc. Prof Ivana Palunko, as coordinator at UNIDU as one of the project’s partners.

Partners came together to discuss and plan the innovative activities that will drive the development of a cutting-edge platform, aimed at improving forest monitoring and combating climate change-induced hazards using Artificial Intelligence (AI).

This marks the start of an incredible journey toward a greener, safer future.
